Throughout history, Flatweave carpeting has been a popular woven structure and has remained in fashion due to its timeless style, its popularity and its enduring practicality. Although the roots of the flatwoven style originated in Iran, Peru, Turkey, and the Ussr, the techniques, designs and structures were re-introduced to the U.S. in 1966 at the textile museum in Washington D.C.
Harcourt's flat woven collection offers a wide variety of weaves, textures and complex patterns. Our jacquard looms produce ingrain carpet and intricate seamless designs up to 27' wide, with a practically unlimited length. Our horizontal put treadle looms have the ability to produce flatwoven creations in wool, linen, silk, chenille, cotton, jute, and metallic yarns. Choose from hundreds of designs, in any standard or custom color, and a sample can be produced in approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

Harcourt Collection has relationships with all major transportation services and finds the most reliable and secure methods of transporting your goods to its destination. If you have a relationship with one courier, please provide us with your account number to secure your shipping rate. We will ship all carpet and rug orders using this specified account unless otherwise instructed or stated. If you would like us to utilize our relationships, we will include shipping charges on your sales order as well as final invoice.
